Kamar Lee has been named the new principal of Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School.
Lee is currently assistant principal at the Center for Innovative Learning in Aiken.
His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from South Carolina State University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Cambridge College.
“I am committed to building on the strong foundation already in place at Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School, ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential,” Lee said.
Orangeburg County School District Superintendent Dr. Shawn Foster said, “Mr. Lee’s extensive experience in educational leadership and his commitment to excellence make him the ideal leader for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School.
“We are confident that under his leadership, the school will continue to provide exceptional educational experiences for our students.”

Lee will officially begin his tenure on July 1.
