Bryant Williams assumed the role of executive director of the Orangeburg Area Mental Health Center on Jan. 17.
Williams began his tenure at the Orangeburg Area Mental Health Center in 2014. He has served in administrative and clinical roles.
He began as a clinical counselor at the center and later served as director of its Division of Child, Adolescent and Family Services.
In 2021, Williams took on the role of the center’s interim executive director. He also served as the center’s chief of staff beginning in 2021 and has served as acting executive director of the center since November 2023.
Williams holds a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from South Carolina State University.
