DENMARK — Voorhees University’s School of Science, Technology, Health, and Human Services has inaugurated the VU 10 White Coats Scholar Club.
The club aims to provide academic and career mentorship in medicine and other national and international health care organizations, aiming to empower STEM students through scholarly activities, site visits to Medical Universities, and other relevant engagements.

Led by Dr. Zhabiz Golkar, professor and dean of the School of Science, the club marks a venture towards fostering the academic and professional growth of its members.
The Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation at Voorhees University, the EPI Center, will hold a spring Professional Development Conference for educators.
Golkar expressed enthusiasm in guiding the first cohort through a direct mentorship program, facilitating personal development, offering guided Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) and Dental Admission Test (DAT) preparation, and ensuring the readiness and visibility of student scholars upon graduation.
