Several schools throughout The T&D Region will be closed Tuesday due to the threat of severe weather.
Schools in the Orangeburg, Calhoun and Bamberg County public school districts will operate on an eLearning Day on Tuesday, which means students will be learning from home.
All after-school and athletic programs scheduled for Tuesday are also cancelled.
On Wednesday, Orangeburg County students, faculty and staff will operate on a two-hour delay.
The Calhoun County School District will also operate on a two-hour delay to allow for the assessment of roads and buildings. Staff will report at 9 a.m. and students by 10 a.m.
Bamberg County School District will make a decision by midday Tuesday about Wednesday’s schedule.

City of Orangeburg administrative offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 9 as a result of potential severe weather. Essential staff will be working for weather response.
