The magic of a tale as old as time will grace the stage this spring as the Orangeburg Civic Ballet (OCB) presents “Beauty and the Beast” at Stevenson Auditorium, sponsored by Carolina Veterinary Practice, PA. Audiences are invited to experience this beloved story of love, transformation and enchantment through the art of dance.

With choreography across a number of dance genres, dazzling costumes, and a cast of dedicated dancers, “Beauty and the Beast” promises to be a breathtaking performance for all ages. The production will include three performances at Stevenson Auditorium, 979 Middleton St.
● Friday, April 4 – 7 p.m.
● Saturday, April 5 – 5 p.m.
● Sunday, April 6 – 3 p.m.

This season’s production features a cast of exceptional performers, including Patrick Bradley, Première Danseur, as The Prince/Beast; Lily-Katherine Felkel, Prima Ballerina, as Belle; and Aniyah Greene, Prima Ballerina, as Gaston.
“Our production is vibrant and the dancers are full of energy. It’s an action-packed showcase and one of the largest shows we’ve done in a long time”, says Mikayla Rider, artistic staff member.
“Beauty and the Beast” is a timeless fairy tale that celebrates the power of kindness and seeing beyond appearances. The Orangeburg Civic Ballet’s adaptation will showcase the grace and athleticism of its dancers while staying true to the heartwarming essence of the story.
“We have put so much thought into each and every detail; from the costumes, to the shoes, the props, the choreography, no detail has been ignored,” says Shannon Williams, artistic staff member. “I believe this show will shine onstage and feel like a truly immersive fairy tale for an audience of all ages to enjoy.”
