South Carolina gardeners can learn how to grow thriving lawns and ornamental gardens by participating in an online short course developed by the Clemson Extension horticulture team.
Garden kits come with registration for the field day at Moore Farms Botanical Garden.
This course, Home Horticulture Foundations, is designed for beginners and features videos about designing and maintaining lawns and ornamental landscapes in South Carolina. The course is directed by Clemson Extension Horticulture agents Brad Fowler, Carmen Ketron and Stephanie Turner.
“This self-paced online course focuses on creating lawns and ornamental gardens that can thrive in all parts of South Carolina,” Ketron said. “It is structured so participants can learn at their own pace.”
