Orangeburg has a new chicken and seafood restaurant.

“It is a nice town, it is a growing town and a college town,” manager and owner Kevin Chen said, citing the reasons he chose to locate a restaurant in Orangeburg. “All the people are nice here.”
Chen praised his work with the City of Orangeburg leaders in helping make his arrival a pleasant experience.
The restaurant opened in the former Golden Chick at Chestnut Street and Columbia Road. Golden Chick closed last year.
Prior to Golden Chick, the site was home to Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The restaurant employs about 13.
The menu includes: combo meals; chicken tenders; butterfly shrimp; fish with fries; wings; Philly steak sandwiches; fried oyster; shrimp; crawfish; crab legs; mussle; burgers and cheesecake for dessert.

The restaurant provides dine-in, take-out and online orders. The drive-through is only for online orders.
In addition to the Orangeburg restaurant, Chen owns a Tasty Wings and Seafood in Columbia and Florence.There are plans to open a restaurant in Greenwood, S.C.
Chen also owns several restaurants in Georgia, in the Augusta and Townsend areas.
Restaurant hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
