On June 1, the chapter hosted its annual Golf Tournament at the Calhoun Hills Golf Complex in St. Matthews. Nine teams of four competed for prizes worth a total of $650. This year’s winning team represented Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

On July 27h, the brothers took part in the Back to School Bash that was held at Calhoun County High School. Members were on hand to serve hot dogs and distribute school supplies to the students. They were also there to support CCPS Superintendent Dr. Ferlondo J. Tulluck, an active member of the chapter. Tulluck was also presented with a donation from the fraternity to help fund the needs of their students.
On August 24, members participated in Adopt-A-Highway along Hwy 601 in front of MUSC Health-Orangeburg. The brothers were able to clear the 2-mile stretch of land of litter and other unsightly debris, which allowed the area to be more presentable to all residents and guests of the city of Orangeburg.
