“I Got Myself a Yard” will screen the following dates and locations:
● Friday, Nov. 15, at Spotlight 8 Theater, located at 201 Columbia Mall Blvd Ste 211, Columbia
● Saturday, Nov. 16, at College of Charleston – Rita Liddy Hollings ’58 Science Center, located at 58 Coming St, Charleston

Johnson’s “I Got Myself a Yard” serves as both cautionary tale and inspiration to the people and communities he serves, especially marginalized youth. Immediately following the screening, Johnson and film director Adam Bailey will take the stage to discuss everything from the filmmaking process to themes of mental health, homelessness and generational and childhood trauma. The screening event concludes with a Q&A with the audience.
