The Orangeburg International Festival (OIF) Committee is extending an invitation to South Carolina State University students to participate in the inaugural Orangeburg International Festival in Downtown Orangeburg on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The festival – sponsored by SC State, the Tiffany Grant Foundation, Claflin University, Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College, and Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce – is a celebration of cultural diversity. It will be filled with live performances, international cuisine, games, food trucks, vendors, and a showcase of diverse traditions.
SC State student organizations are welcome to host tables at the event. Student volunteers are also needed to help with different tasks at the festival.
Student organizations do not have to pay to host a table, but are required to register to participate, along with volunteers.
