DTC students taught about tea etiquette, networking lessons

This event provided students with a platform to learn about tea etiquette, hear impactful stories of resilience and discover the power of networking as they prepare for their careers.

In alignment with DTC’s mission, the tea encouraged personal and professional growth. Faculty and staff shared stories of perseverance, underscoring the environment Denmark Tech creates to meet students where they are and guide them toward academic and career success. Through mentorship and networking, the event highlighted the college’s commitment to preparing students with skills essential for navigating the professional landscape.

“Our goal at Denmark Technical College is to provide opportunities for our students to grow academically, professionally and personally,” said Willie L. Todd Jr., Ph.D., Denmark Technical College president and CEO. “We are dedicated to engaging, educating and empowering our students by guiding them toward excellence in the classroom and beyond. Events like these build confidence and foster the connections that will help them to navigate their careers with professionalism.”

Wright-Richards expressed her gratitude for the contributions of faculty, staff and alumni, reflecting the college’s dedication to uplifting students and fostering essential life skills.

“The afternoon tea gave our students the chance to learn in an encouraging environment, where they could connect with mentors and be inspired by real-life stories of success,” said Wright-Richards.
