A free turkey giveaway will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Good Hope AME Church in Cope.
The giveaway will be a drive-thru event, with volunteers distributing food bags to cars. Each bag will contain a variety of items, including fresh vegetables, fruits, sweets, bread and a turkey, while supplies last.
To ensure fair distribution, a limit of one turkey per car/family will be enforced. If a person indicates that there are multiple families in the car, they may be asked to provide proof of residency or other relevant documentation.
