• Programs at Orangeburg Lutheran Church, 610 Ellis Ave.: Movie to Talk About: In “Agnes of God,” a court-appointed psychiatrist is sent to a convent to evaluate a young nun whose infant has been strangled. With Sister Agnes claiming a virgin conception and no memory of giving birth, the doctor must distinguish between the seeming lies and the nun’s perception-altering faith. The movie – starring Meg Tilly, Jane Fonda and Ann Bancroft – garnered three Academy Award nominations and is rated PG-13. It will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in Caughman Hall at Orangeburg Lutheran Church. Film, drinks and popcorn are all free, and it’s all open to the public. Theology on Tap: Theology on Tap will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, on the patio at Chestnut Grill.
