A 3-year-old, her mother and her mother’s fiancé have been identified as the victims in Tuesday’s fatal crash in Orangeburg County.

Sabrina Ann Johnson, 35-year-old Kristen Lanae Johnson and 33-year-old Stacey David Avenger Brown of Orangeburg died in the crash, according to Orangeburg County Coroner Samuetta Marshall.

Deborah Johnson described her daughter, Kristen Johnson, as “kind, very giving, very creative and a creative writer.”

“She had her own business she was trying to get up and going,” her mother said.

“She was a great mom and a great daughter,” she added.

She described her 3-year-old granddaughter, Sabrina Ann Johnson, as a “bundle of joy.”

“She was a little shy and just the happiest kid,” she added.

She said Brown was her daughter’s fiancé, and described him as a hard worker, very nice, kind and polite.

The collision occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 301 and Crosscreek Drive at 6:15 p.m., according to S.C. Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brandon Bolt.

A 2014 Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling west on Crosscreek Drive and entered the intersection of U.S. 301.

A 2002 Ford Mustang that was traveling north collided with the Freightliner, Bolt said.

The three occupants of the Mustang died at the scene. The driver of the Freightliner was not physically injured.

No funeral services have been announced for Brown.

Deborah Johnson said her daughter and granddaughter will be laid to rest on Friday, Dec. 29, in North Charleston.
