Bamberg will hold a Veterans Day program at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Bamberg Veterans Park on Main Street.
First Lieutenant Jordan D. Smith of Hampton will be the speaker.
Smith graduated in 2007 as the highest honor student from Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson and began his Army career as a member of the 246th S.C. Army National Guard Band, serving from 2007 to 2020. In 2021, he graduated from the Palmetto Military Academy as the academic honor graduate and currently serves as the operations officer.
