The 1974 Class of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School held their 50-year reunion on April 20 at Copper Oak Plantation in Bamberg.
The class met their goal of 50 members for the 50th. Fifty-two class members, five faculty members and 40 other guests were present for the catered event which included a short program.

The event included a DJ playing music from the era and the reading of the names of 32 deceased classmates. Many of the members had not seen each other since graduation.
BAMBERG – A third ambulance unit has been added in Bamberg County, and the county’s contract with its new ambulance service provider remains unchanged after the provider failed in its effort to form a regional service with Barnwell County.
The room was decorated in school colors and featured several displays of memorabilia.
Among the memories, it was noted that the 1974 football team was state runner-up and the baseball team won the state championship.
