The festival theme, “Preserving the Legacy of African American Sacred Music,” underscores the importance of honoring and safeguarding the musical heritage that has shaped generations.

A parade, cuisine, music and fashion show will be among the features of the inaugural Orangeburg International Festival set for April.

The Orangeburg-Wilkinson Alumni Chorus comprises award-winning vocalists.

Approximately 200 ninth-graders attended Voorhees University’s second annual GEAR UP day event.

“We are thrilled to revive the African American Sacred Music Festival and carry forward its legacy of musical excellence,” said Sheneice Smith, Artistic Director. “This event is not only a celebration of our shared heritage but also a testament to the transformative power of music to unite, uplift, and inspire.”
